ANYCUBIC KOBRA 3 MAX ACE-PRO OVERHEAD MOUNT - Ace pro 1 and Ace pro 2

The cabinet with the drawers is the only part that was changed - no need to reprint the rest. The cabinet has been re-designed to work with both the Ace 1 and the new Ace 2. If you are doing a new print I suggest you use the universal version. I have left all other versions there for backward compatibility. I have verified the design but have not test printed it. The K3 Max is a huge printer and finding space for it can be a challenge. That problem is compounded if you have the Ace-pro.
Having designed the overhead mount for the K3 and a number of risers I could not resist the challenge. Contrary to the K3 overhead mount this one uses the vertical supports for added strength and rigidity. This results in a very secure and robust mount for the Ace-Pro.
The K3 Max overhead mount offers the following features:
Two large drawers with GRID-FINITY style compartments (the compartments can be downloaded for free on Makeronline);
Build plate holder for two or more build plates;
Side mounted tool tray (can be can be downloaded for free on Makeronline);
Side mounted External spool holder (included with the model);
LED clips for mounting LED under the Ace-pro overhead mount;
Very rigid and robutts mounting brackets that wrap around the vertical supports for added strength;
Dovetail mounts the sides of the bottom brackets for custom add-ons.
Very little external hardware ( a few wood screws - see below)
TECHNICAL SPECS AND INFO
The build requires a little over 2 spools of filament. PLA is best as it is more rigid. The design is very rugged so no need to use ABS or ASA. The assembled height is 1m (41 inches) with closed lid and 1.2m (49 inches) with the lid opened. Build time on the K3 Max is approximately 3 days and 6 hours
INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: I have included a print profile (3mf file) for the base unit with all the required parts. I strongly recommend you use this as the parts are correctly oriented and optimized for printing. I have painted support and it is designed to use TREE MANUAL settings.
The print profiles are named: Anycubic - K3 Max overhead (for K3 Max) V1. 3mf - use this to print on the K3 Max Anycubic - K3 Max overhead (K3-S1) V1. 3mf - use this to print on the K3 or S1
The bottom caps can be painted. You will need the file "Bottom cap with k3 Max" which is in the zip STL file.
I have also uploaded individual STL files for the parts. They are in a zip named STL files.

DUAL ACE-PRO OVERHEAD UPGRAGE - use the zip file named "K3 Max Overhead Dual files.zip". If you already printed the Single Ace-pro overhead then use the file "Print profile - Ke Max Overhead Dual - Upgrade from single". Also, the tool tray and external spool add-ons for the single will not work with the double. See the double model (on Cults) for the add-ons for the double Ace-overhead.
ASSEMBLY
A Gif assembly video with the model description photos shows how to assemble the Ace-overhead. I also uploaded a zip with the assembly photos.

If you chose to use the LED clips these are mounted using wood screws (see instruction picture). I used SIX no. 6 wood screw x 1/2 inch (approx. 3.5 mm diameter x 12.5 mm long).
