There are quite a few laptop stands models for 3d printing. Most offer a fixed position and a select few adjustability. However very few offer multi-axis adjustability and the capability to elevate the laptop to eye level. I wanted a laptop stand that offers this capability and more. The stand also had to be durable and rugged and most importantly, practical for everyday use. With laptops getting more compact and outfitted with more powerful processors heat dissipation is an ever increasing issue so dual cooling fans were also a must. Lastly, the design was optimized for 3d printing.

Features

This laptop stand design offers the following features:

Height Adjustable from 2.5 cm to 25 cm (1-10 inches) with the long side bracket. This setup is optimal if you wish to have your laptop at eye level and use an external keyboard and mouse or if you wish to use it as a stand-up desk setup.

An optional short side bracket is provided to use the laptop in a lower configuration without the use of an external keyboard or mouse.

More than 120 degrees of angular adjustment. The angular adjustment uses a unique locking feature ensuring that the stand will stay firmly locked in the position you set.

Dual cooling fans using Anycubic's Laptop Cooler Kit . Four stand-offs are provided to ensure optimal airflow and cooling.
The laptop stand also can be used as a second stand. A screen holder clip is provided for this.

The laptop stand is very robust and can hold 10kgs or more which is more than sufficient for even the larger laptops.

A USB hub stand is provided as an option and can be mounted at the back of the base. This is ideal for adding a USB hub (using double sided tape) for your keyboard and the cooling fans. The stand base can also be used as a keyboard stand

Assembly

Assembly is quick and simple and a GIF assembly instruction is provided along with assembly photos.

Note: Some parts may seem tight at first but they all fit. Just go slowly. The tight fit is to avoid it coming apart over time.
