This is a set of eight replacement Ho‑5 20mm aircraft cannon barrels designed for 1/32 scale Japanese WW2 aircraft. The barrels feature a cleanly modeled perforated jacket with sharply defined vent holes, offering a more realistic appearance compared to many kit parts where the cooling holes cannot be molded cleanly due to tooling limitations. Only a few aircraft carried the Ho‑5 with the barrel exposed, most notably the Ki‑84 Hayate, but these barrels can be used for any kit requiring an external Ho‑5 muzzle. Each barrel is modeled longer than necessary so the user can trim the length to match the specific kit or installation style. The barrels are designed as direct replacements and can be installed with minimal or no modification depending on the kit. The parts were test‑printed to verify general fit, but small adjustments may still be necessary depending on printer differences and kit tolerances.
