1X 21700 battery adapter - flexible converter - replaces 2xC batteries.

These battery adapters are designed to be printed in TPU or similar flexible filament. They convert any device that uses 2 x 'C' batteries in series to a longer life Lithium 21700 battery.

A friend was using similar adapters with his metal detector but had issues removing the battery. My design has a split up the battery holder side so that the battery is held snugly, but is also easy to remove to charge..

The benefits of using a lithium battery is longer battery life over standard C batteries & less weight to carry.

This adapter has many applications from Nurf guns to metal detectors like the Minelab SDC2300. Less weight and more battery life, who can complain with that!

NOTE: The design uses 1x M5x25mm per adapter (not supplied), these can be obtained on ebay or similar search "M5x25mm Binding Chicago Screw Post for Photo Albums Scrapbook" Push the post up from the base and screw from the inside. This provides the connection between the base and the battery.

3D printing settings Print in TPU or similar flexible filament, 200um or 300um, 20% infil. I used 3 walls, 6 layers top/bottom which produced great results.
