this print keeps failing for me at the tips of the wings, like maybe the last 5-10% of the print. any ideas?

Hi, I was wanting to print this so I could put one of my books in it but the size of my book closed Is approx 1.75 inches. is there a way to make that gap bigger without changing the size of the dragon? The Dragon size is already cutting it close to being too big for my printer.
