This awesome design print with no supports at all! And it can be printed in 2 colors on any printer. Just add a pause after printing the porthole window, swap filaments and keep printing.
"For the tentacle I used Esun dual color Green-Blue Silk Pla."
"All of my models are for personal use only, unless you are an active subscriber of Thangs with a commercial license."

Beautiful
what speed did you print his at?
would be nice for split objects to use ams easily
Do you mean top and bottom?
Ah I'm so gutted this doesn't fit into the Flashforge 5M build volume! It's so incredibly beautiful but sadly after purchasing, it transpires it's not possible without scaling down. It's such an amazing model though truly! :)
What if you cut the base off the tentacle? Whats the max height you can print?
What size bottles is this supposed to fit? I got it all printed out and it looks amazing but it doesn't fit the couple wine bottles I had laying around, although it does fit one of the skinnier Bacardi bottles. I'll still use it but I'm just trying to figure out if it was designed for skinnier bottles or if I messed something up somewhere
Thats weird it should fit most wone bottles, the 750ml ones
TLDR load the 3MF file and then drag in the STL file and while they are both the same size, the 3MF will be set to 108% scale. (see make post now that i figured out what's wrong) Not a big deal but i would add a note mentioning that, and maybe that the 3MF file at 100% will fit Bacardi bottles nicely ;)
ok, i figured it out. i scaled it down to test my filament, and if you use the 3MF, it is scaled to 108% by default, but i didn't catch that and just set it back to 100%. If you use the STL file, 100% scale is the same size as the 108% scale 3MF file.
When i measured the bottle that did fit, and the wine bottle, the wine bottle was ~9% bigger so scaling the 3MF to 100% is what caused it to be too small.
When will the wall mount be available? Way cool!!!
Thanks! Soonish 😀
