Stand out from the masses and print this amazing pedestal for the IKEA Fado lamp to give it a modern and fresh appearance. The ugly base of the lamp get's hidden in the background. The plates are printed separately and just plug together without any screws or glue.

I recently included a pluggable version for the 25cm/10" lamp which then still fits most printers.

Size & Scaling: There are two sizes (17 & 25cm) 17cm: 230x160x4.5mm 25cm: 215x163x5mm So should fit most printers build plate. No scaling.

The diameter of the plates is a bit bigger than the Fado lamp itself, as the sphere is unfortunately not perfectly round... that may also vary between different models. Thats why the plates do not fit the lamp exactly.

Printed these 2 per build plate, on their sides. Both resulted in great prints, but I pulled the first off before it cooled and it warped, so wait for it to cool.

NOTE: This is for the 25cm version available in the US.

is this the right lamp? am i missing something

Sorry, in Europe Ikea sells a 17 and 25cm version of the Fado lamp. I recently uploaded a pluggable version for the 25cm lamp. Send me a mail to get the files.

I haven't printed mine yet, but Ikea sells a 17cm version and a 10" (25cm) version. Unfortunately they don't sell the 17cm version near me.
