This is a play on the classic turtle sandbox we all had as kids. This was a request from a patron.

So there are lots of these on the internet. Most of which just copy the original sandbox. But the problem to me was, why? The old sand boxes had a cover (shell) that would just sit on top, and the modlels I researched did the same.

So I adapted my egg " system" to this. The lid screws on tight, and secures the contents. from making a mess.

I hope you enjoy these. I used moon sand, but for cost reasons you should probably use just plain sand?

This one prints in one color... fill with sand, tools and viola. The only hiccup here is how the shell has to print. the bottom can get messy. I suggest using supports. sorry, no way around it.
