This is a mounting plate for the new Emporia Vue Gen 3 power monitor, which has ethernet so i decided to mount it on the wall next to my breaker box. The Vue 3 has two threaded holes in the back for mounting so this plate allows you to use a 4mm screw to attach the plate then you can screw the plate to the wall. nice clean install. Also if you have one of these i recommend flashing the esphome firmware onto it. especially if your using it in home assistant.
