A remix of Peter Holzapfel's N64 retro pi parts on thingiverse (see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2493432)
My goal with this build was to package a raspberry pi 3 and small USB soundcard into an N64 to use together with Joseph Basquin's SamplerBox (https://www.samplerbox.org/).
The front left controller connector ports were customized to include 3.5mm audio jacks which I connected to the audio/mic-out of the USB soundcard. I purchased a micro USB to female USB-C cable in order to power the pi and soundcard with a USB-C cable.
In the future I'll adapt Peter's carrier board to support both a raspberry pi model 4 and the sound card. For now the sound card just hangs out loosely inside the gutted N64 case.
I'm also working on a way to hook up the N64 cartridge reader to the RasPi via USB (see https://sudomod.com/game-boy-zero-guide-part-5/ for a similar take on this idea) - has anyone made this happen? let me know
I've included some blank models that can be customized in Fusion 360 for your own purposes as well as some parts from Peter's project.
