A set of gears to multiply the range of a standard servo -- a Turnigy 1501MG in this case, probably overkill -- to tilt the slats of a wooden venetian blind.  Direct drive wasn't enough to get the full range of motion out of this blind.

Print one pair of gears: I've found that the 25-10 teeth combo drives the full range of the blind once I tightened up the cords inside.

A separate rig using the motor from a cordless drill and some relays to winch the blind up and down is in progress.

The servo is connected to an Espruino Pico with an ESP8266 and two power regulators (5.5V for the Servo, 3.3V for the electronics) to internet-enable the setup. A simple web app controls this, along with 433MHz power relays controlling lights, desk fan, and monitors; as well as relays to control bed head/foot motors for reclining.

To keep the lid of a MacBook Pro (Early 2008, pre-Unibody, 17") open at a specific angle. If the laptop is tilted forward -- such as when the user is lying down, knees bent, with the laptop on lap -- the weight of the screen tends to close it. This model wedges it open.  

This version adds a second wedge to spread the load to both sides, and makes it all a bit looser by making the base and lid a little thicker.

Sick of using a lighter socket charger and wanting to use that for a cheap TPMS monitor, I wanted to replace the blanking plates used in better models for heated seat switches.

Rather than cutting holes in the existing panel, which in hindsight would have been MUCH easier, I printed them.

Add in short USB extension cables and then splice a USB charger and a fuse between the loom and the existing lighter socket, and it all works. There's plenty of space in the centre console to fit it all.

The "GidTech Window-Blackout-O-Master 2000™" attachment for a cheap roller blind from Argos. While more expensive, more substantial blinds can have a motor fitted inside the blind tube itself, cheaper roller-blinds have much narrower tubes.

This attachment uses a 100RPM 12V DC motor - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01KTZXZ1G - to control the blind.

The motor plate is held on by four M3 bolts (hex-head) going into four captive M3 nuts in the base.  First, screw the motor to the plate with three or more M3 screws, then bolt the entire plate onto the frame (pushing on the motor gear first).

The free end of the blind uses the existing fitting for strength, but it should be straightforward to model a new one. If so, I'd recommend increasing the slot width and the diameter of the stalk.

I'm connecting this arrangement via a cheap IBT-2 H-bridge board to an Onion Omega board currently being used to control the "GidTech Blind-Tilt-A-Tron 2000™" -- http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1051809 -- wooden slatted blind controller;  it communicates via MQTT to a custom Internet of Things environment.  Alternatively, the H-bridge could be connected to an Espruino, an Arduino, an ESP8266, or similar.

You could control the motor with simple up/down buttons or a DPDT rocker switch, or you can use the otherwise-unused "accessory port" holes to mount limit sensors. I've included a partially-developed mount for copper wire brushes to contact against conductive copper tape stuck to the blind; or Hall effect sensors to sense adhered neodymium magnets.  However, my favoured approach is the included rotary encoder attachment and third gear wheel so a microcontroller can receive a stream of pulses to maintain blind position.

Honda Civic 8th Gen driver's floor mats are held in with plastic clips on large metal poles. Without the clips, the floor mats come loose, and the poles are uncomfortable to step on.  These clips lock onto the metal poles, keeping the mat in place and softening the blow to the feet.

Admittedly a niche thing to print, but I did make some for my friend too, who coincidentally has the same car with the same missing clips.

Our company logo -- usually 2D, but I thought I'd convert it to 3D as an exercise for learning Blender and tweaking my 3D printer settings for subtle curved surfaces.  

My sanding and finishing skills need a lot of work.  

Printed on Robox, at normal detail, as "fine" was going to take far too long and I was intending to sand it anyway.

Designed in a rush after I hurt my thumbs, and so was unable to pop out medication for the week.  Printed on Robox in extreme Draft mode, just to get it done.  

When I get more time, I may rejig it to be a parametric model for different size/shape/arrangement of pills.  

The holes are left covered with a thin membrane to be cut out by scalpel.  This is just to improve the bottom layer, by reducing first-layer perimeters.
