This insert is designed to hold everything from Baren Park and Bad News Bears, stored upright on a game shelf. Using a modular design, each component can be removed from the box and used to contain the tiles during play. The spacer is only needed when storing upright.

A couple notes on packing into the box: The EXIT tiles must go on top of the standard construction sites in order to fit the objectives box, it's a tight fit. You can print two boxes for the towers, but it might not fit next to the objectives box. The monorails piece is small and the pieces bounce around, so hold them in with a rubber band. There are two extra toilets and they fit on top of the playgrounds. The enclosures box is a little confusing, but each set of 3 animal tiles forms a layer with only one open space. Think of it as a little puzzle when you are putting away the game!

I taught myself to use tinkercad for this design, so I'm brand new to this. If you have any suggestions or problems I'd be happy to chat!

Barenpark and Bad News Bears Expansion Insert

I wanted a horizontal organizer for sleeved Dominion cards, but couldn't find anything quite like what I wanted. I really love the Broken Token insert but since I have a 3d printer I wanted something I could print myself. I quickly mocked this up on Tinkercad and it worked great! It measures 288mm x 98mm x 65mm high. Should be easy to modify to fit any card heavy game.

This is a big file, and the only way I could get it to fit on my printer was to rotate it 45* and it just barely fit. One of the pictures shows this in Cura. Definitely print with a brim. The dividers were a VERY snug fit, and I like them that way so nothing moves around. I only printed 3, but print as many as you want. 

This will fit two columns of sleeved cards, but won't quite fit three as you can see in one of the pictures. I took a picture before I sleeved the cards and the Dominion Base game plus the Prosperity expansion fit in one column. After sleeving it takes up one and a half.

Update 2/8/22: I designed and printed a middle piece so the box can stack vertically and the other pieces don't slide around. (In green in the first photo) I made it really thick to hold the weight of the cards whatever direction the box is placed. 20% infill. The two side slots fit sleeved cards as shown in the photo. In the middle I have a prototype of this box: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5190061 that I use to hold random coins/tokens. If you do print it, it needs to be scaled down slightly to fit. Scale to 90% in X and Y but Z can stay the same.

Boardgame Insert for Sleeved Cards--Broken Token Style

This is a simple series of boxes to hold the Queenies for Copenhagen by Queen Games. There are separate boxes for Nyhavn, New Façades, and the Abilities and Missions expansions. Pick which one you want to play with and add that box to the game. 

The lids have a .2 mm design inset in the top, and probably print best at that layer height. Any height would probably work, but just make sure the design is only on the bottom layer.

New Façades--each layer has two tiles that fit together. Literally any two tiles will fit on each layer except the two long and skinny ones have to be together. 

Nyhavn--The 3 tiles go on the side, the 3x3 tiles go on the other, and the two awkward long ones go on top. 

Abilities & Missions--Everything is pretty self explanatory.


Copenhagen Queenies Organizers

This is an insert I designed for the game Aquatica by Cosmodrome Games. I drew inspiration from the insert designed by js5002 but ultimately designed this from the ground up. The player boxes hold all of the starting player cards and manta rays. Every box has a lid so it can be stored vertically and nothing will move around, and there is no lid lift. Designed for sleeved cards, though I haven't tested the sleeves on the locations cards yet, but theoretically it should fit. 

I decided to try something fun and gave each box a custom lid to indicate the contents. Every box lid is the same size (except the locations cards), and if you don't want unique lids print the "generic lid". The lids are designed with a .12 mm design on top, and thus print best with a .12 layer height. The boxes can all be printed with .2 mm layer height. 

Update 2/28/22: I finally found sleeves that fit the locations cards: Swan Panasia 50x100 (Fit Odin's Ravens and Tribune). They need to have about 10mm cut off the end, but they fit perfectly and fit in the card box. It is a very tight fit, and the cards need to be compressed, but they fit for me. If they don't, then print a second location box/lid about half the height (z) and that should be enough to fit the rest.

Aquatica and Cold Waters Insert

Remix of Parks + Nightfall insert by ThoxicThox. The original was too tight for my box and some of the thin pieces bowed. My modifications had 2 goals: 1) to add finger holds to make the cards/pieces removeable without removing the insert entirely, and 2) to organize the park cards next to each other making space for the small camping board to fit and make the lid fit more tightly. I also made the space for the triangular first player marker larger because mine didn't fit in the space. There is plenty of space for sleeved cards, and/or future expansions.

I have a retail version of the game if that makes any difference.

Update 11/5/21: Added updated version of the Campfire box. My first design was slightly smaller, this new one fits tightly in the box.

Update 12/9/21: I added a piece for the Parks cards that holds the start and end trail tiles and divides the park deck in half to keep them organized. Also remixed from ThoxicThox. The camping tile now fits on top of the Park cards, and the divider is slightly lower to keep it in place. I also have sleeved my Parks cards as you can see in some of the photos. In order to fit in this insert sleeves must be 71.5 mm or less. Update 2/25/22: I had a request to make the words inset for the PARKS cards to avoid damaging the cards and save space. Parks Cards v2 has the words inset .2 mm, and would probably print best at that layer height.

PARKS and Nightfall Game Insert

I designed this box to hold the dinosaur meeples for our game Draftosaurus. Six can fit inside a box with plenty of room to spare. We don't have the Marina or Aviary expansions, but I imagine they should fit also. This is my first attempt at designing a box, and it took many prototypes to get it right. I hope you enjoy it! Please comment or post a make, I'd love to see someone else enjoy my work! 

I designed it to hold magnets that are 6.4mm x 2.5mm because that's what I had available. They fit in really snug, no glue needed, just push hard with a flat piece of metal as leverage. Make sure you get the polarity right because it's not coming back out! I also included the files without magnet holes if you would like to use a different size, or just no magnet. The box lid should fit pretty well without a magnet, but it adds extra strength.

I also included files without the logo, in case someone would like to use this just as a dinosaur track shaped box. If you do, print it face down and you should avoid some of the bridging issues and have a nice fitting (and looking) lid.

Notes on printing: Printed using standard low quality settings on a Creality CR-10 Pro. If you look closely in the pictures my printer needed some adjustments but if yours is fine-tuned you shouldn't get the lines that I did. I wanted nice detail on the lid so I printed the lid face up with supports and a brim, and the top looks great, but the bottom is a little rough as shown in the last picture. Hopefully someday when I gain more design skills I'll revisit this and make it better. We tried printing it upside down once to get a nice top and bottom, but the letters moved around and it just didn't work. If you have any tips on how to make it look nice, send them my way!

Draftosaurus Box--Dinosaur box with lid and/or magnet

I designed this insert for the board game Gingerbread house by Phil Walker Harding and Lookout Games. I wanted to keep as much of the original insert as possible, but still wanted some simple organization. I drew inspiration from other designs on thingiverse but ultimately designed this myself.

All of my inserts are designed for vertical or horizontal storage, though this one requires some of the punch out cardboard to be placed under the insert to keep things from falling around. The card holder should theoretically fit sleeved cards, but you will have to measure and make the box taller depending on the thickness of the sleeves. The "lid" for the stair pieces should fit snugly, but not break. I designed it with a 3.2 mm diameter circle, but when mine actually printed it was closer to 3.0 mm. I included two sizes so you can try both and see which works best for you. The pegs kept breaking off, so I suggest you print the stairs lid with 100% infill and be gentle with it.

Gingerbread House Board Game Insert

I wanted something to organize the original cardboard pieces for NMBR 9. I scaled up the insert made by robertos and then made a few modifications to make the pieces fit and keep things from falling out. I then modified FedorSosnin's travel box to fit the entire thing. The lid doesn't fit very tight, so I keep a rubber band around it. It's a little hard to pull out the pieces when they are inside the box, so we pull the entire insert out for play. I love how compact it is for travel and nothing moves around.

When printing the box and lid print with a brim to minimize curling on the bottom.

NMBR 9 (Number 9) Cardboard Tiles Insert

We bought this game and wanted something to keep track of each scene. At first we used glass gems, but they distort the image and make it harder to see. These simple rings help organize the case clearly and simply. I printed about 35 and they make it through most of the longer cases. If you have troubles printing, slow down the speed and it should print easily. Also works for the Eye Found It kids games.

I designed these additions for the game Four Gardens. The mini pagodas are a remix of JugglingMike but changed to be more thematic and intricate. The disks go on top of each section of the pagoda to protect the box lid from being punctured. The token holder holds all four resources with room to spare and a lid to store. There are two different styles for the pagodas and they all stack on each other for gameplay. Enjoy!

Remix of the insert Jeff510 designed. My cardboard tiles for Codenames were thicker than his and didn't fit in the space. I also didn't want the wall between the cards so I removed it. I have not printed the Codenames box, because I was able to hack my previous print to make it fit. But I did print the cards box and the duet box, and they worked perfectly. These are additions I designed for the game TRAILS by Keymaster Games. There is a resource holder that keeps track of your 8 resource limit and can hold either the standard cubes or my custom printed ones. When using it you never have to count and see if you have too many resources. There is a file for the hiker in case you lost one or (like me) think the light gray and white colors are too close and want to print one in your favorite color instead. I also designed some custom resources for the rocks/stone, acorns, and leaf tokens. Everything fits in the organizer @BoardGameMeta designed.

This is an insert I designed for the OOP game Through the Desert by Reiner Knizia. Both pieces fit inside the original insert. A small token tray is removable for game play, but fits inside the box for storage. It is a very close fit but the board fits on top and nothing moves around even when stored upright. I know you can't buy this game easily anymore, but just in case someone wants to organize their old game!

This is a mix of a few different organizers I found here on thingiverse. This configuration will fit everything but the new game board in one box (not the extra cardboard bits if you have the deluxe version). Unfortunately only one of the 3D printed cardholders will fit in the box, there is not enough space for another so I have the extra cards in just a rubber band. Print two of the token box. Nothing special here, but it all fits in the original box!

This is an organizer for the game Truffle Shuffle by AEG games. I wanted a modular playable insert, that makes game play and set up easy. The coin tray has each number on the side so you can easily see which to grab, and it perfectly touches the top of the box so nothing falls out. The cards are a little trickier, and I decided to split it into two deck boxes. These do not fit sleeved cards, and you theoretically could size it up easily to fit them, however the card trays and coin tray only fit as shown above. If you want to size it up you will have to shrink the coin tray a little for everything to fit. I will happily make the changes if someone wants to send me all the measurements for sleeved cards.

Truffle Shuffle Organizer

I removed the training wheels from my sons bike, and found these bolts stuck out too far for my comfort. I designed this to fit over the bolt and have flaps that bent slightly but held on tight to the threads. Designed for .28 layer height with three layers for the bottom piece. Printed with a 20% infill, but if it breaks I will reprint and increase.

This is a resource organizer for the game PARKS. The limit of how many resources you can have is 12, so I designed this as a reminder. It is slightly smaller than a PARKS card from the game and can fit in with your cards. It is slightly flimsy, but I wanted it to take up as little space as possible next to my sleeved cards. If you want it stronger scale it slightly in the z direction only. The resources don't fit it perfectly, but it helps keep track of how many you have. Print one per player (game plays up to 5).

This token/resource organizer is perfect for anything. The curved bottom makes things easily removable. This can be scaled to any size, just be sure to appropriately scale the lid as well.
