I designed this box to hold the dinosaur meeples for our game Draftosaurus. Six can fit inside a box with plenty of room to spare. We don't have the Marina or Aviary expansions, but I imagine they should fit also. This is my first attempt at designing a box, and it took many prototypes to get it right. I hope you enjoy it! I designed it to hold magnets that are 6.4mm x 2.5mm because that's what I had available. They fit in really snug, no glue needed, just push hard with a flat piece of metal as leverage. Make sure you get the polarity right because it's not coming back out! I also included the files without magnet holes if you would like to use a different size, or just no magnet. The box lid should fit pretty well without a magnet, but it adds extra strength.
I also included files without the logo, in case someone would like to use this just as a dinosaur track shaped box. If you do, print it face down and you should avoid some of the bridging issues and have a nice fitting (and looking) lid.
Notes on printing: Printed using standard low quality settings on a Creality CR-10 Pro. If you look closely in the pictures my printer needed some adjustments but if yours is fine-tuned you shouldn't get the lines that I did. I wanted nice detail on the lid so I printed the lid face up with supports and a brim, and the top looks great, but the bottom is a little rough as shown in the last picture. Hopefully someday when I gain more design skills I'll revisit this and make it better. We tried printing it upside down once to get a nice top and bottom, but the letters moved around and it just didn't work. If you have any tips on how to make it look nice, send them my way!
