Christmas is almost here! ...i should probably put up the tree, ooooor I'll just print one to hang this shiny new Santa on!


He's got some moving limbs and can be printed in all one color or in layered color filament changes.


Printed in PLA at 0.2mm on my modified CR-6 SE.


Print the 50scale version for a "normal" size ornament.



Here's the layer and color cheat sheet (read from bottom to top like the model would print):


8 -Yellow/metallic: buckle. (55).
7 - Red: nose. (53).
6- Black 2: belt. (51).
5 - White 3: mustache, hat brim, hat ball. (49).
4 - White 2: beard, eyebrows, glove fur, boot fur, jacket hem, jacket middle. (47) (skip filament change after this layer since the next layer is also white).
3 - Red: hat, face, jacket, pants. (45).
2 - Black: eyes, gloves, boots. (43).
1 - White 1: eye glint. (layer 41).
0 - red: base model and mouth.

I had some cardboard boxes I use for quick access storage that don't have much room for my hand to grab. Print upside down and slip 'em over the side of the box. scale them down a bit in your slicer if they feel too loose.

Here is a Turkey I made for the wife's desk over Thanksgiving.

.GCODE provided is sliced with about 20mm cut off the Turkeys base (I thought my model turned out a little too tall so sliced it with -20mm under the plate).

Made a couple others as gifts in Kodak PLA+ Copper and they turned out fantastic.

Made a replacement mixing board knob for a friend and it turned out great and thought people here could use it.

0.25mm Initial layer height, 0.25mm line width, and 0.125mm layer height (so layers will line up with the .5mm increments the knob was made with)
3 outer walls
1 top surface skin layer
3 top layers
3 bottom layers
30% cubic infill
I printed in PETG at 235 nozzle temp and 85 bed temp
no supports
used a skirt for build plate adhesion

print the knob upright and the cap upside down.

Printed x4 of these with my standard 4 wall, 25% cubic infill, 4 top and bottom layers and its withstood over 500 pounds of people on the couch. Also tested these by jumping on the couch, because, why not.
