The Great Jobbie Whicker

We have cats, and an enclosed garden for them to frolic in. The cats also use this garden to toilet in. Then the lawn person grumbles when his mower hits a "catsnest"...

The next thing you need to know is that the fantastic Scottish comedian Billy Connolly has a short skit about airplanes and airplane toilets, specifically where the poo (which he calls "jobbies" in that great accent of his) goes when you flush those toilets. His theory is that the official story about a tank of blue liquid is "boolshet" and there's actually a device that - "whick!" - whicks those jobbies out of the plane at great speed to freeze and land on some unfortunate sod below. 

And the last part of this is that ever since I was inflicted with that terrible image in my mind I also - perversely - wanted to know what such a "jobbie whicker" would look like. 

And then when the lawn person went ballistic one more time from feline jobbies, this design was born. It's sized to attach to a piece of grey PVC conduit tubing but whatever you can find that fits is fine. You then take this outside, find your jobbie, address it like a golfer taking the game-winning putt, and "whick!" your troubles into a cardboard box or bucket on their side for later disposal.

And now you have a backstory, a story, and an image you can't quite get out of your mind. . .

Holds the unused half a pill when you have to divide them.

I have one of those medications now, and it always annoyed me to put the half pill back into the bottle, you end up with a load of crumbling half pills and dust. I tried keeping the remnant in the little dimple in the lid but it's way too easy to dislodge. This way the half pill stays with the bottle and doesn't roll off the lid.

Pillbottle Topper.stl

You open one of those little tubs of tomato paste, you use half to make a meal, you press the foil lid back down, and shove it in the fridge. Two days later, you want to use the rest and get it - and there's biology taking place in there, lovely splotches of mold. 

THAT is why I finally made and printed this lid. Simples.

NOTE: Tomato Paste Lid.stl is the first version, it's not drawn with smooth curves and I made it a touch smaller so it wouldn't bind in the tub, figuring I'd fix it up for the second draft - but this was good enough for the moment. I'll smoothe it out and increase the diameter by a millimetre and add Tomato Paste Lid v2.stl when I get a moment to do it.
