When I first started out, I felt like it was a huge pain in the ass as well as a waste of filament trying to find a direct drive solution for my Ender 3 that would work with any of the standard available cooling solutions such as the Hero Me etc. I decided to remix a couple of things available here on Thingiverse and come up with an all in one set that is designed to work with mostly stock Ender 3 parts coupled with an E3D Titan extruder and pancake stepper. This is a lightweight direct drive solution that will help minimize ringing. I started with the Red Squirrel Hobbies duct here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4170231 And the Titan extruder mount available here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3369418 I did a bunch of tweaking to get the two parts to interface as seamlessly as possible. I printed the extruder mount at 100%infill and the duct at 20%. This is strictly an endstop only setup. I have tried auto bed levelling and prefer to manually level my bed.
