Anime Character Face Masks
Anime Character Face Mask, by Perihelion Prints
Become a real life anime character, by donning one of this set of 20 unique anime character face masks by Perihelion Prints.
These masks are somewhere between a 2.5D Mask (inspired by https://www.tumblr.com/2-5dmask) and a full kigurumi mask. Designed to offer full face coverage without the challenge of a full head mask. Perfect for (mildly-unsettling) anime character cosplay, a photoshoot, or as part of a performance costume.
Includes the following expressions:
- Annoyed
- Cat
- Cat (Open Mouth)
- Cat (With Teeth)
- Content
- Distressed
- Happy
- Joyful
- Laughing
- Neutral
- No Mouth
- Open Eyes
- Shocked
- Sleepy
- Smile
- Stoic
- Surprised
- Tired
- Winking
- X Mouth
As shown, the expressions are "baked" into the geometry of the model. Hand painting may be required to achieve the desired look, especially for the eyes. See pictures for inspiration. There should also be enough space to (2D) print out paper eyes to glue on.
All masks include eye holes, most in the middle of the mask's eyes. These can remain as-is, or you could glue a small piece of thin see-through fabric to the mask to cover them from the inside. If you find the visibility too restrictive, you could modify the file to enlarge the eye hole or open up the eye cavity fully. Feel free to reach out for help with alterations to the design.
======
For attachment to head, use elastic cord or ribbon. For fitting, place the mask on your face, lining it up with your nose and the sides of your face.
Measure how much ribbon you'll need to go around your head, then add a bit more and cut two equal halves. Tie a knot at the end of each piece of cord, or glue one to each side of the mask, and use the leftover length to tie both pieces into a knot/bow behind or head. Or you can edit the file to come up with your own solution.
Scaled to fit most adult heads. Although you may want to scale the mask up by 5% or down by 5-10% depending on the size of your head. And be prepared to do a test print to check the fit, especially around your eyes and chin.
Sculpted in Blender. STL and .blend files included. Dimensions in millimetres.
