Gridfinity Buildplate for a Cheaper Screw
A version of the Gridfinity Buildplate for those who don't want to play around with weights and rubber, and just want a fast, cheap screw. It takes half the amount of money, no support, and no emotional connection. Just make sure you got that silicone extruder cover on, you don't know where it's been...
Actually, yes we do. It's a modified version of jdeg's supportless mod of Zack Freedman's weighted Gridfinity baseplates.

Okay for a general introduction this is part of Zach Freedman's Gridfinity project, an open source storage solution thing that is probably better for them to explain https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ra_9zU-mnl8 We wanted the weighted buildplate to screw onto something but it was gonna be a lot more expensive with the weighted bit so we modified it so we can just drill it into the table without drilling into our slowly dwindling PLA suppl--wallet. we mean wallet. we dont spend our food money on PLA that'd be crazy.
