This box is a remix of the Tool Box by Yanev, but with the Prusa Research logo on the top and the name of Joseph Prusa, the founder and CEO of Prusa Research. The logo is oriented to face up when transporting and when the box is open. It also has a latch and handles for easy opening and carrying.
The Prusa Box Multipart is compatible with all the Tool Box Base models I designed. You can swap the base to create your own customized Prusa box with different layouts. It will also be compatible with the future bases that I will design.
The Prusa Box Multipart is a 3D printable model that you can download and print with any 3D printer and filament. It is easy to print and use, and you can print it in any color you like. It is designed for those who don’t have an AMS (Automatic Material System) or MMU (Multi Material Unit), so you can print the top and the logo in separate parts. You will need at least three filament colors: black, white and orange. The model consists of four parts: the top with a hole, the outline of the letters, the letters, and the base. The letters are in one only model but can be split in the slicer and print in the typical Prusa colors. You can then assemble the parts together with glue. If you have an MMU or AMS you can use the multicolor version at Prusa Box
The Prusa Box Multipart also comes with an STL of the simple base, latches, handle, and a seal. The seal is a flexible part that fits around the edge of the box to prevent dust or moisture from getting inside. To assemble the box, you will need M3x30 screws for the latches and M3x35 screws if you add the handle.
