ABOUT THE DESIGN Print it as a fun holiday sculpture or use it to give a small gift to someone you love.

Looking for something fun to put in the egg? Try Build Over Bot's Mandalorian Easter Bunny with Grogu.

NOT TO BE SOLD I'm sharing my files so that you can make them for yourselves or give them away as gifts. I hope you enjoy them. I do not authorize sale of my work by anyone. Please don't ask me.

RESIZING These should scale up well, but resizing down would probably result in the closing mechanism not slicing right unless you used a 0.2mm nozzle or resin printer.

PRINT TIME About 14 hours

SAVE TIME I've included my PrusaSlicer 3MF file so those who use PrusaSlicer don't have to work out all the settings.

PRINT SETTINGS I used 15% rectilinear (lines) infill and two perimeters (walls). I placed both halves of the egg on the build plate with the opening of the egg touching the plate. I used support for the dome of each egg half (probably not necessary, but it printed well) and also used support for the overhang on the bottom half of the egg (completely necessary). I also used height range modifiers so it only put tops and botoms where I wanted. Otherwise, I generally used default settings for .15mm high quality settings in PrusaSlicer. I did adjust the temp and retraction slightly for the PLA. I used MatterHackers Rainbow PLA and printed both halves of the egg together so the color change would go from the middle out.
