Oversized Bulbasaur Pokemon Card - HueForge Hybrid Print

The third in the 'Oversized Pokemon Card' collection, I present to you Bulbasaur! This Hueforge hybrid printing method combines filament painting and traditional 3D printing to create a 'hybrid' piece that has a 'pop out' feature in the print.

This model complements the Oversized Pikachu and Oversized Squirtle HueForge hybrid cards.

If you are using a Bambu printer, or Bambu Studio, the included 3MF file will already have all the settings applied to the print, including the colour swaps and print settings for the hybrid part of the model. Otherwise, use the STL file with the following print settings:

For the HueForge part of the print (0mm-2.16mm)

• Print with 100% infill, at 0.08mm layer height, with a base layer height of 0.2mm

For the Bulbasaur (2.16mm - 40.12mm)

• Print with 5% infill, at 0.16mm layer height - I used Gyroid infill
• 2 walls, 3 tops and 3 bottoms. I also opted to use the Concentric pattern as a top surface
• Note: You can use whatever colour you want for Bulbasaur depending on your preference!

Filament Swap Instructions Filaments Used:

• PLA Kingroon Black Transmission Distance: 0.4
• PLA BambuLab Basic BambuLab Green Transmission Distance: 8
• PLA CC3D Lemon Yellow Transmission Distance: 8
• PLA Kingroon White Transmission Distance: 8

Swap Instructions:

• Start with Black
• At 1.00mm swap to BambuLab Green
• At 1.40mm swap to Lemon Yellow
• At 1.56mm swap to White
• At 2.04mm swap to Lemon Yellow
• At 2.36mm swap to BambuLab Green (For Bulbasaur, but you can use whatever colour you want, honestly!)

Post Processing You will need to paint Bulbasaur! I used paint pens to make it easier :)
