Darth Maul (Paid) - HueForge Print
He died, then he was revived and then... I think he died again? Here's everyone's favourite dual-sided light saber wielding Sith 🙂
This model was actually really difficult to HueForge, due to the similarity of the red and black luminosity levels. I had to use a cosine brightness comp (currently in beta for HueForge) and actually do some image editing which I actually hate to do LOL but I reckon the end result came out looking AMAZING.
This is an A5 sized (150mm x 210mm) print, takes just under 3 hours to print, with the option of some little glow in the dark spots. The 3MF will have everything already included (including the glow in the dark, so if you don't want that, just delete that particular colour change). If you use the STL please follow the instructions below:
Print Instructions Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.2mm You can use GiTD filament for this one, but it just highlights a bit of his forehead and the bridge of his nose, so it's completely optional :)
Filaments Used:
- Kingroon Black Transmission Distance: 0.4
- PLA CC3D Blue Gray Transmission Distance: 3
- PLA BambuLab Basic Red Transmission Distance: 5
- PLA CC3D Lemon Yellow Transmission Distance: 8
- PLA Kingroon White Transmission Distance: 8
- Optional: Glow in the Dark Green
Swap Instructions:
- Start with Black
- At 1.12mm swap to Blue Gray
- At 1.2mm swap to Red
- At 1.64mm swap to Lemon Yellow
- At 1.76mm swap to GiTD Green (Start the white from here if you don't want to use GitD)
- At 1.88mm swap to White for the rest.
