Dual Laptop & Tablet Mount
A friend asked if I could help design a solution for his home docking problem — 1 personal, 1 work laptop, with either being docked to the same setup at different points of the day. So, this is the solution I came up with. It's pretty generic, so it should also work with tablets and as a storage solution.
Four variants: 14" and 16" sizes, each in two mounting configurations — flush under-desk (devices sit level with the table edge) or wall-mounted. Each slot is secured with 2 screws, the mount itself takes 2 more — 4 wood or drywall screws total.
The slots flex to hold devices firmly. The lip at the top is 14.2mm, and below it opens to 20.2mm, so it should accommodate most laptops. I included a "Test Fit Print" — a small piece you can print to check your laptop fits before committing to the full print.
Works with MacBooks, Windows ultrabooks, iPads, Surface tablets, and most slim-profile devices at the listed sizes.
