This adapter allows you to mount a Humminbird Helix 5 G2 DI GPS Fish Finder transducer to the bottom of a Vibe Shearwater 125 electronics pod.

It may work for other Humminbird transducers to be attached - let me know if use it for another model!

It may work for other Kayak's electronics pods - let me know if you use it for another kayak!

I use three 16mm M5 screws and one nut to attach. Steps:

  1. Drive two M5 bolts up through the holes that are next to the trough on the bottom of the adapter. Do not attach to anything yet
  2. Put the transducer mounting bracket into the troughs on the bottom of the part. Align the hole in the bracket to the hole in the adapter
  3. Drive one screw down from the top of the adapter through both the adapter and the transducer bracket.
  4. Hold nut over the end of the screw in the bracket and tighten (I just press the nut against the end of the screw and turn the screw while it tightens itself down)
  5. Place the adapter onto the bottom of the electronics pod and drive in the two screws, alternating until they are hand tight

NOTE: You may want to trim the bracket a bit to ease access to the M5 screws going into the pod, but it is not necessary
