This was one of my first models, I replicated the fusion animation Guillotine from Persona 5, I had to design it because I'm collecting the official manga and I did not find any official ATLUS bookend. I think i did a decent job replicating every detail shown in the animation, there are two main versions, a closed one and an open one and you can either print them for a right endbook or a left one. I'm not the best when it comes to painting and that's why I did everything I could just to avoid painting complex stuff and I think it turned out pretty good, considering I'm still bad at painting you could actually easily get a better result by yourself. It did take me a lot of time to model, print considering various failed attempts, that's why I decided it was worth a little. I decided to create an overly detailed guide in google docs. In the guide I included really everything I could, even my selection of paints and how to paint each part, still, you should check the colors with the animation and check for yourself because you can probably do better. I really hope you like this model it fits really well on my bookshelf and came in handy for displaying my mangas. You will find with this item 17 STL files already ready for printing (some are rotated but it's easy to guess the right orientation).

Persona 5 bookend

I often decide to tidy up my desk and workspace, to do that I sometimes displace buttons as I did for my second DIY monitor and my HDMI switch.

To make it easy and cool looking I decided to make a 3d printed model that uses only a spring and a common 6mm switch (the most common switches you can salvage from pretty much anything) to make a reliable, good-looking keyboard-like switch. The model has a moving piston that is guided that closes the switch located underneath it, the upper part has a stem on which you can mount most cherry MX compatible keycaps you can easily find on Thingiverse, unfortunately, my actual keyboard keycaps do not go on them but making them work would require making the stem way too thin and risking it snapping inside your key which is not the best, anyway I'll gladly tweak it for you if needed.

In addition to that, I've made a trace to keep four of them together, just pass the cable through the hole before soldering the switch and then after securing the wire slide into place the bottom part to keep all in place. I can make a bigger one but it would mean two cables for each switch that are to consider when routing them, anyway I can add custom ones if needed and if you want to make it yourself the vase of the switch is 20*20mm, just make the space for them and add a circular hole in the middle with a 5mm diameter. To make one of them all you need is:

A 7*12.5mm spring
A common 6mm switch
Hot Glue
The assembly is simple and you can watch the gif to understand where to put all your stuff, there are two holes for the wires on the base, one is sideways and the other is on the bottom, just remember to pass the cable into the bottom hole if you're using it (and through the trace for multiple switches) before soldering it, it pretty much snaps into place but between the bottom part and the switch/body I would definitely suggest putting some hot glue to make it sturdier, due to the poor consistency of dimensions it might need it or not, in the worst situation you can ask me to resize it or use a file.

Clicky working keyboard-like electronic momentary switch

This is the case for a panel mount switch that can be used with a common 7*7mm switch and a 7*12.5mm spring, it's pretty fast and easy to print, it doesn't require supports in any model, I would like to create a big collection with useful electronic 3d models ready to print. The render shows the order in which the pieces go but it's pretty simple.

It all fits together tight the important thing is to print the body not at 0% infill cause it might crack when fitting the parts together

Depending on how well-tuned your printer is you could have to either glue or file the parts for a better fit, in my case it all fits together pretty well

CMS RTC module

This is a spool holder with a weight sensor included, it is based on a 2kg load, an HX711 board, and an Arduino nano, I made it basing on my CR10 v2 by creality but it can easily be fitted to other printers it will require:

⚫2 M5 screws
⚫6 M4 screws and 4 nuts
⚫The spool holding tube that comes with the 3d printer, if you don’t have it it’s a tube with a 3cm diameter you can easily print that but if needed I’ll make the model just ask for it.
⚫Load cell (it can have multiple values but I suggest going for the 2kg ones)
⚫HX711 board
⚫4 Digit seven segments digital display with TM1637 (that only has 4 pins, the dimensions are the ones in the link i add)
⚫Arduino Nano and USB cable to program it.
⚫Basic soldering skills
⚫Wires both with and without pins for arduino
⚫Optional: Step down converter 24/12V to 5V depending on the voltage of your 3d printer power supply, if you don’t use it get a wall adaptor and a severed usb cable
⚫Hot Glue gun (you can probably find an alternative tho)
⚫kitchen scale
⚫Optional: Either a empty spool or a full one (or just know the weight of a spool)

I think this can be a pretty cool Arduino project and it's pretty simple i found it pretty amusing i suggest understanding how it works too if you wanna get into this kind of stuff. 

I've also made a pdf guide on how to assemble it and the ino file for the arduino script other than the 7 stl files. The total cost is pretty low if you go with Chinese websites for electronics but it's not that bad even with amazon even tho prices are high for electronics there. Note that the reading is acceptable only while not printing because of the tension of the filament.

I made a replica of the pokeball from pokemon legends arceus that has accurate materials with metal parts and wood and also electronics to make it spit smoke.
There isn't much printed in the project but the thing I did have to print are uploaded here, also the blender file in which I have all the items to scale to replicate the dimensions.

I needed to tidy up all the cables behind my desk and, after using some adhesive solutions I decided to go for a permanent solution because adhesives can either be messy to remove or fall off within a few weeks.
