This is a 7mm:1ft model of the cradles which were once fitted to the decks of former Warflat wagons to enable them to carry hot rolled steel coil on British Railways. It is a simple rescale to 7mm:1ft of the finer version of the 4mm:1ft model. It was done on request so I assum there is a suitable 7mm:1ft model (kit?) available of the MoW warflat wagon. The modeller is invited to modify the deck planking to get a convincing result. The wagons ran with tarpaulin hoods (on three movable support bars) over each cradle to protect the load from the weather and these will need to be made from suitable wire and sheet materials cut and bent or foldeed to shape. I have concerns about the likely quality and finish if the model is printed in the materials for which it is priced below $30 - assuming they pass printability review - because there will be a lot of attachment points for operators to clean up and they may not be accessible.
