This is a OO (4mm:1ft) rescale of a 2mm:1ft model of the steel coil carrying cradles which were once fitted to British Railways ex-MoD warflat wagons. The intention is that it could be glued onto the Bachmann RTR Warflat wagon model to make a "Coil EG" wagon. The cradles were not all identical. The one modelled has rivets on the end plates where others had bolts, and minor differences inside the cradles. Each cradle had three tarpaulin support bars which you would have to add in fine wire cut and bend to the right dimensions, or more likely since the wagons never carried loads without them, fold up some tarpaulin hoods and hide all that internal detail.
