This is a 4mm:1ft scale model of the body of a British Railways Shochood B open wagon for carrying tinplate. You will need a suitable 12 foot wheelbase 21'6" OHS vacuum-fitted 8-shoe chassis - I belive the 4mmFS modelling world has one of these available as a kit. The body is of course slightly shorter than the over headstocks length of the chassis and in the real world this was to allow for the shock-absorbing back and forth movement of the body during shunting. The body has projections at both ends with three holes at different lateral angles for fitting wires as the hood supports, but you will have to make those and the tarpaulin hood yourself, taking care not to break the printed projections when cleaning the holes and fitting the wires.
