I wanted an outdoor air quality sensor, but as normal I didn't want to spend a fortune :)
This is designed to fit the "Smart Air House Keeper" from aliexpress - as this is an indoor sensor with its plastic housing removed, I needed to design an enclosure which would keep it dry but also allow adequate airflow and prevent direct sunlight throwing off the temperature readings too much.
While this was designed for a specific board, it can be easily modified to fit any sensors, and the modular design means that the height can be easily varied (my design uses 5 of the "middle" sections)
The stripped sensor board screws into the cap part and hangs in the middle of the enclosure.
This was printed in white PETG to reflect sunlight and give a modicum of protection against impacts. The print is optimised to use M3 heat set inserts and machine screws.
