Ornate Display Frame v3 – Bestiary / Codex Series (175 × 123 mm)
This third version of the ornate display frame continues to refine the visual language of my fantasy and codex-inspired series.
While earlier versions explored classical and structured ornamentation, v3 focuses on balance and restraint, offering a cleaner silhouette with carefully placed detailing. The result is a frame that feels intentional and archival, designed to support the artwork without competing for attention.
This version is specifically designed for illustration-only Bestiary Plates sized at 175 × 123 mm, making it the ideal companion for the paid, text-free editions within the collection.
The proportions are tuned to let the illustration breathe, framing it as a preserved artifact rather than a decorative print. The overall look leans toward something you might expect to find catalogued in an ancient hall of records or private archive.
