This is designed to fit in a Voron or any printer that uses a 2020 Extrusion. Use a T-Nut in the Extrusion, and a M3x12mm hex screw to hold it in place.

To attach to the camera itself I was lazy and used some VHB tape which is plenty strong. I tried a previous mount with standoffs, but they were far too weak and there are so many different versions.

Here is a look at it being used for a timelapse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwDJNf_6DmU

And the original video it was featured in where I talk about it some more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISUJ79KNBEI

Things needed:
  • Raspberry Pi Camera (pictured is v2, but any should work)
  • VHB Tape: Like this sheet or just a roll of 10mm is fine. It lasts forever.
  • M3 x 12mm Screw, anything is fine as long as it fits (at least 10mm I think, you can adjust it in the OpenSCAD file
  • M3 T-Nut that goes in the extrusion to hold it in place, they look like this

The only thing I have not figured yet is how to conceal the terrible looking ribbon cable, but some mounted cable ties are working at the moment...
