Boston Ivy Fridge Magnet
Instructions Hardware Filaments
Boston Ivy - Intermediate Boston Ivy is a climbing plant, and now it climbs up your fridge! Boston Ivy is the perfect way to make your home feel a little more like fall. Unlike English Ivy, it turns into a beautiful red color with the season change, which makes this a great print for the fall. My Fridge is always a mess with a bunch of different ugly magnets, I wanted something that looked great, but could also organize all the stuff on my fridge. This Ivy was a great solution that matches the fall vibes.
You can take the leaves off the stem to use as a single magnet, or slide things underneath the stem to hold items as well!
Prints-in-Place The stems of the Boston Ivy print in place! Thanks to some specially designed hinges. Each stem section has multiple joints allowing you to wind it back and forth on your fridge. All you have to do is add magnets.
Customizability The stems all snap together, so you can easily make your Ivy as long as you want. There are also Y branches so you can branch off your vine in multiple directions, just like the real thing!

Love it - was the lady bug included? I cant fint it :(
The ladybugs can be found in the Office Bugs Model or the Magnet Ivy Model
I like the pop of orange! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for sharing!
I really like your color choices! Thank you for sharing!
Can't wait to print these. I would love to see one as Christmas decor. Perhaps old school christmas lights and a wire or Garlands with ornaments.
Holly leaves and berries may be pretty for the winter as well
Love this sooo much! Thank you for this addition
Thank you for the support!
I can't use the 3mf files. So I pay for a subscription but find myself downloading things I can't print. Is there any chance I can get the stl files for prints? (Very aware I am annoying)
Hi, You are definitely not annoying for asking! I get seeing only the 3mf in the download can be tricky but I do want to help you with this. The easiest fix for this would be to download Bambu Studio, where you can connect your printer (it supports a wide variety of 3d printers) and slice the print directly from it too. If you want, you can also export the stl files from there. Having Bambu Studio will also show you all of our recommended print settings from the 3mf making printing smoother.
The magnets that we are told to use to do not fit in any of the holes.
Hi, The model was designed or 5x3 magnets. The tolerances are tight to ensure they don't fall out. If you use a manet tool like this it can often make assembly easier. Let me know if you would like other suggestions too. If you join our Discord you can get more help and share pictures of the problem there too.
I have a Prusa core one, and the right to left hinge works but the forward to back hinge does not work... If that makes since... I am new to 3D printing so any advice is welcome, thanks.
Hi, if the up-and-down hinges are fused itโs likely elephant foot (the bottom layer spreading out a bit). You can fix this by raising your first-layer Z-offset slightly in PrusaSlicer or turning on Elephant Foot Compensation under Print Settings โ Advanced. Print-in-place hinges can also sometimes be tight at first, so gently wiggling them after printing usually helps too!
