v3 Update: Chamfered edges for better printability.

This is a Pull Fid used to splice ropes. It works very well and is very cheap.

all you need is a pack of wire and some electrical tape and you can make many. The black wire shown in the picture worked fine but I reccomend stainless steel.

To make the handle cut a section of doubled up wire the length you want the tool to be plus 1 foot past. This will give you many wraps around the handle to make it secure.

Wrap with wire around tightly then cover with electrical tape and your done!
