THIS WAS MADE TO BE PRINTED AT A 250% SCALE. (Makes the final assembled print about 25in long). Parts may not fit correctly if printed larger or smaller. I created this as a summer project to test my skills at creating a 3d model. I decided that I wanted to make this relatively simple to print and require no glue. I started with the idea that I wanted to make and Iowa class battleship and for the most part that is what this is. Although, I will admit there are some flaws in the model that prevent me from truly calling it that. (Including no propellers and two distinct lines on each side of the hull. One line in the front and one in the back on each side) This is my first true DIY 3d printing project so its not perfect but still looks great sitting on the table. The main guns, secondary guns, back radar, and fire control systems all do turn freely. Once printed everything should fit together without needing much force except for the back smoke stack topper which needs a bit of force. Do keep in mind that there are three superstructure file. That is because the superstructure better printed in pieces after being cut but if the whole thing were cut in a slicer, part of the secondary gun mounts would be cut too. So two extra files where included to fix that and another issue I found on my print. Putting it all together is strait forward and should be no issue. If you do want to print the hull in two pieces there are rods that hold it together that are hidden below the guns.
