Hey folks,

for my repair of a old Hameg HM605 oszilloscope i needed some 4 mm shaft couplers. The old ones broke apart and there is no online shop, where you can easily buy spare parts or similar plastic couplers. Thats why i remodeled the original couplers and printed them in ABS.

Tip:
Print them horizontally and turn them by around 45 degree, that way it's pretty easy to print them with tree-supports enabled.

Hey folks,

for my LinuxCNC powered CNC-PlasmaCutter with EtherCAT components i needed a simple and space saving way to mount my MESA THCAD10 PCB (ADC). Since all avaliable mounting options with DIN rail clips are fixing the PCB horizontally, i needed to design my own. This design uses standard M3 heated inserts which fix the THCAD via four M3 x 8 mm socket head screws.

The adaptor in the pictures was printed in ABS on a Voron2.4 with 260°C nozzle, 110°C bed and 0.2 mm layer height in around 1 h.

Short technical explenation:
The Finder relais are for Ohmic Sensing and triggering the plasma. The THCAD AD-Converter is used in combination with the voltage devider to convert the plasma voltage into a frequency signal, which is then meassured by a Beckhoff EL5101 incremental encoder input card.

for my LinuxCNC retrofit of a Maho MH400E (Philips 432/10 cnc controller) with EtherCAT components i needed a simple and space saving way of interfacing 32 inputs and 32 outputs connected via a DB37 / DSUB37 connector. Since all avaliable DB37 breakouts with DIN rail mounting are at least 12 cm wide and i needed two of them, 24 cm of wasted DIN rail space was out of the question.

So i designed my own 1,6 cm wide breakout, to which you can mount the socket and solder the breakout wires to. I ordered DB37 sockets (https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005006354086316.html) and a 1m long 40 core cable (https://www.voelkner.de/products/207771/LAPP-OeLFLEX-CLASSIC-110-Steuerleitung-40G-0.50mm-Grau-1119040-1-Meterware.html). The advantage of using the individual wires of that cable are the numbered wires from 1 to 39.

The two brakets in the pictures were printed in ABS on a Voron2.4 with 260°C nozzle, 110°C bed, 100% infill and 0.12 mm layer height in around 2 h each.

This an adaptor for Wago current transformers, in order to mount them on DIN rails.
In the pictures were Wago 855-2701 35/1A transformers used for testing. I'm using these three current transformers for power measurements in a control cabinet of a CNC plasma cutter with a Siemens PAC3200.
The design files (.stp and .f3d) are included.

Bei diesem Model handelt es sich um einen Tragschienen Adapter für Stromwandler der Firma Wago. Leider habe ich im Internet keine passenden Adapter gefunden und daher selbst einen auf Basis des WAGO 855-9927 Adapters designt.
Auf den Bildern sind Wago 855-2701 35/1A zu sehen, welche für die Tests genutzt wurden. In meinem Fall nutze ich die Stromwandler in einem CNC Plasmaschneider Schaltkastenzur Leistungsmessung.
Die CAD Designdateien sind auch enthalten (.stp und .f3d).

How can i highlight the backside and make it more readable?
Get yourself a white marker (i used an Edding 8055) or something like fluid Tipp-Ex. "Re-Write" the constellations and the NFC text + symbol and let it cure. After ~5 minutes you can just sand the backside carefully and read all the small details

You have to print the Base and stop the print either manually or with the command M600 (Marlin) or PAUSE (Klipper) on Layer 21 (2.1 mm) to add the NFC Tag. After that, just hit resume and let the base print.

It's possible that you are not able to print the Keychain v1, it's pretty tricky to get the overhangs just right.

You need to print the mirror file 18 times (print 20 and you have some spares on hand).

Tips for the NFC tags
All of my Samsung Phones (S9, S10e, A5) were not able to write to the NFC-Tag. But it worked without any problems on a OnePlus and a Xiaomi phone. In case you are having some trouble writing to the tag, just try another phone. I recommend to use the App "NFC Tools" - It's also possible to secure the tags eventho the manufacturer says something else. You can add up to 1k of data, which is more than enough to store a vCard/contact, a link to the JWST galery website and some addition text information

What's the story behind all of this?
Someone showed me a video of Urs Ganse (german video of "How to build a spacecraft": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qNHtdN07FM - just in case you understand german and you are a nerd too: You need to watch it!) In addition to that, we also spent a lot of time on one of the last warm summer days looking at the sky and the stars - you can learn a lot about constellations from somebody, who's hobby is sailing. All the rest is just nerd stuff and some crazy ideas which lead to all of this.

It's meant for being mounted inside a cabinet or something similar.
The prototypes in the attached pictures were printed on a Voron 2.4 300 mm in black PETG.
I strongly recommend you to reinforce the holders with one screw each (M3 SHCS at least 15 mm long) or they will break of very easily.
The Fusion360 model (f3d file) is also attached.
