The uConsole from ClockworkPi comes with a stock WIFI antenna, but there's a catch, the aluminium case acts as a Faraday cage, significantly weakening your wireless signal. This can lead to frustrating connectivity issues and reduced range.

This simple antenna spacer solves the problem by creating distance between the antenna and the aluminum case. By giving the antenna some breathing room, the Faraday cage effect becomes much less apparent, and you'll notice a real improvement in signal strength and stability.

I've found that after Installing this modification with a bit of double sided sticky tape it boosted my WIFI signal to approx 60-70 dBm which will cover me for my whole house.
