Small Thread - Fix Point (Supported)

This model is restricted by licensing terms. 

Fix Points allow for fast and easy installation and removal of any accessory part while still being sturdy.

This is a “Small Thread” Fix Point that can screw into the small threads on the Multiboard Tiles.

Attach parts that have a negative Fix Point or Rail, like "Rail - Multibin Shells" or other accessories.

Printing Guidelines:

Use 3 perimeter wall thickness, 0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill, and no supports. Apart from that, use your printer's default settings.

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. Make sure the downloaded files are .STL. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

Tried these in PETG, 0.2mm layer height, 15%infill (which doesnt do much on these tiny models) but the break-away part still fused to the nut. The "folded" variant works way better.

if you turn ironing on for all top surfaces that will make it easier to separate the supports from the screws. Its still requires some force to separate but they will come off cleanly without damaging the part, its the same technique as stacking plates.

I was using the split screws before i discovered this as well but i find the supported ones are much easier to install as they have flat sides and less material contacting the hole this helps compensate for variations in tolerances.
