Horizontal Pole Mount - Kit

This model is restricted by licensing terms.

Use the “Horizontal Pole Mount” to connect Multiboard Tiles to a Pole perpendicular to each other.

It’s made to be used with a “standard” broom handle that you can buy online really cheaply (usually 24 - 25 mm in diameter).

It comes with a “grip”, a “band” and three sizes of “sleeves” with spikes. You will have to test which sleeve works best with your pole.

To use it, slide the sleeve onto the pole, then push the grip over the sleeve, the slide the band over teh grip, then snap the grip to your Multiboard tile, and secure everything together using a 20 mm Mid Thread Bolt.

Printing Guidelines:

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. The print has been designed to be “3 wall perimeters” in wall thickness. Printed at a layout height of 0.2 mm. It doesn't need printing supports. Use the default 15% infill. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

This object is part of Multiboard, a FREE "all in one" organization system with 700+ parts, that combines pegboard holes, honeycomb snaps, Gridfinity like bins, threads, brakes, and much more.

What's the dimension of the dowel that should be used with this?

It is 7/8" dowel with the medium spikes

7/8 wood dowel worked fine for me with the medium or large spikes, it was a bit loose with the small spikes

Looks to me like 7/8" but I have yet to actually hang it. Was trying to find the correct threaded bolts, the mediums look like the right size but slip in and out of the threads...

The 20mm foldable nuts worked ok for me but if I force them too much I can make them skip. This is a great project but I think the 0.25mm tolerances are a bit extreme for people with properly calibrated printers.

1" dowel and then you don't need the adapter rings with the spikes. It does not use bolts. It snaps in once you have the dowel in place.
