8 MU Fix Point Bolt-Locked Insert - Rail

This model is restricted by licensing terms.

Rails allow you to slide-on accessories that have a negative Rail, like "Rail Multibins" or "Shelf Rail Sliders". This Rail is 8 Multiholes long.

This is a "Insert" Rail that can be attached to the Multiboard Snaps (Weight Bearing Snaps are recommended).

"Bolt-Lock" the Rail into place by screwing in a "Small Thread Fix Point" from the back of the Snap, this way the Rail won't slip out.

Printing Guidelines:

Use 3 perimeter wall thickness, 0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill, and no supports. Apart from that, use your printer's default settings.

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. Make sure the downloaded files are .STL. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

Small Thread Point is not long enough to attach the Multipoint Rail.

Dang, wish I'd read this before printing. This is the one that fits https://than.gs/m/1394869

Then need to change the "Small Thread Multipoint" link above to "Longer Small Thread Multipoint (Raised Snap MP Bolt-Lock)". This is very misleading and waste a lot of peoples time and money.

Why does the blue rail in the photo have no holes (smooth across the entire surface, but the printed version has holes ever inch or so? Where can I find the one pictured above?

so... it's not an insert railing at all. It's a bolt in railing. Why the f... do you call it an insert railing when you clearly don't insert it into the snaps you just bolt it into the snaps. This does not fit into snaps.
