Gear Pathing Maze - concept level
NEW IMPROVED GEAR PATHING MAZE DESIGN AVAILABLE FREE FOR EVERYONE: https://than.gs/m/1112864
I am testing out a new type of maze where the goal is to connect two gears on the opposite sides of the board. You must use all the gears in the set and all of them must be connected.
Don't forget to like the design. And if you print it, I would love to see how it turned out for you so add a "make" to this design to show off your version!
It is simple to connect sides without using all the gears, but can you fit them all in the board without them blocking each other?
This is concept level! If it is enjoyed, then I will be developing additional levels that will include way more ideas that will make finding the path so much more challenging - blocks on the board and so much more!

I cant make that solution fit my board and work.
Looks great. What kind of filament is the green one? Might need to get some of that.
That's the only solution I can make fit and work on my board but I didn't think there were supposed to be any "dead end" gears?
I will give you all a hint to one of the solutions (the one that I got) - one of the side gears is in contact with two of the small gears.
Nice, you got a different solution to the one that I had.
Is this a working Solution? At the right Medium wheel there are two useless Small wheels?
I see, did not notice that - while the small gear next to the medium one is connected, the small gear in the middle is not connected to any of the gears. However, if it was moved a little bit down and to the right then it would be connected and I would say that it is working solution.
What is a Solution for you? If all gears are used and rotate or only if all gears are used in one row? So no usless (but rotating) gear is anywhere?
In my solution all gears are connected and when I turn the side gear, they all rotate along, but there is still 1 small gear that is rotating along with other gears, but it is not giving any benefit to getting to the other side. As the concept level got so many downloads in short span of time, I am working on the actual levels 1-5. I will make sure that there is only need for 1 base as that's a part that takes most of the time. There will be blockers and other things to make it more challenging.
Nice, I am looking forward to the next Levels
