TPU buffer for exposed steel support posts that protects toes and softens accidental impacts.

This TPU buffer fits exposed steel support posts, commonly called lally columns, to protect toes and reduce accidental impacts in basements, garages, and workshops. Community-suggested and tool-free to install, the two-piece design slides together with a locking mushroom joint and can also cushion rigid pipes or similar vertical posts.

Customization Instructions

Customize your Lally Buffer directly on the Lunar Prototypes website.

1. Navigate: Go to the customization tab on the model page.
2. Customize: Enter your desired measurements and adjustments.
3. Submit: Click submit and wait for the design to complete.
4. Download: Once the job completes, download your custom STL and slice as usual.

Note: The customization system is currently in beta. Your feedback helps us improve.

Notes:

• Recommend Arc Fitting slicer setting to avoid failures.
• Ensure joint height parameter is at least 20mm lower than height parameter.
