A wide, shallow succulent bowl ringed by a palisade of hexagonal basalt columns — inspired by columnar basalt, the six-sided rock formations that appear when a lava flow cools slowly and cracks.

The bowl is open and generous rather than a single narrow well, so it takes an arrangement of several small succulents or one spreading cactus. A field of drainage holes runs through the base.

• Footprint ~100 × 100 mm, 66 mm tall.
• Prints flat on its base. Single color. No supports.
• Best in a dark matte filament — charcoal, basalt black, deep grey. The facets catch light and hide layer lines.
