The Penny Trainer – Adjustable LST Plant Trainer

The Penny Trainer is a simple adjustable plant training tool designed for low stress training (LST).

Instead of forcing branches into harsh bends with typical LST clips or tying them tightly to stakes, this design gently guides branches downward using stackable pennies as adjustable weights.

By adding or removing pennies, you can easily control how much downward pull is applied to a branch. This allows branches to bend gradually while still moving naturally with airflow from grow fans or outdoor wind.

The result is a safer and more natural way to shape plant structure and encourage a flatter canopy.

This trainer works well for indoor grows, outdoor gardens, and container plants, and can be repositioned easily as the plant grows.

This is my first original design, created to solve a problem I ran into while training plants indoors and outdoors. Perfect for cannabis growers, vegetable gardeners, and indoor plant training.
