**Auto Locking Guitar Holder** - _Intermediate_ 

This guitar holder automatically opens and closes top keep your guitar from falling off the wall. It works great to display your guitar, but the best part is that its satisfying to use. 

Its works via a linear gear system and a rubberband that resets the guards when the guitar is off the wall. You will need a single standard rubber band to make this. A little bit of vaseline or lubricant makes it function even smoother.

1. Slot Levers into base

2. Insert left and right hooks onto levers. The levers should be oriented straight up when placing the hooks on.

3. Lock the hooks into place by screwing on the locking caps onto the threaded part of the levers

4. Orient Levers up, and insert a bumper into each side. Make sure the teeth on the bumper face inward, and the grooves are facing outward. You will need to press hard to get them inserted.

5. Tie a knot in the middle of a rubber band. Wrap one loop of the rubber band on each of the hooks. The mechanism should now work

6. Install onto wall by placing the base into the wall bracket and screwing into the wall.

**Pothos** - _Intermediate_
Another Articulating Plant! This one turned out really lifelike. Took me a couple dozen versions to get it right. I made it while surrounded by 3 real pothos plants to try and get it to look as realistic as possible. Put this in a hanging pot, and it will look awesome! Make sure to cover the base with dirt to get an even more realistic appearance.

**Desktop Golf** - _Intermediate_ 

This is the perfect game for your desk, and makes an excellent gift for golfers/fathers.

You get to put a ball across your desk. If you make it, Nice Shot! If you miss, no worries, the ball comes right back to you via the return track!

The game attached to a desk or table with screws. This works best for desks that are not up against a wall.

This took me a long time to perfect and it is SUPER fun to play. It is a little more complicated to assemble but I promise its worth it!

A test print to prove my design for two gears that have perpendicular axes.  Also makes for a really fun fidget toy.

The STL File:

All parts print on all standard 3d printers, requires no additional tools for assembly, and assembles in seconds (snap the parts together and you're ready to go!)  Add a little WD-40 to the gears for smoother motion.

Recommended print settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm

Nozzle: 0.4mm

Infill: 15-18% 

Total Print Time: ~1-3 hours (depending on printer)

100x100mm

Cross Gears Test Print

This is one of my all time favourites- instead of a pendulum, this escapement uses a ball bearing rolling along a track to keep time.  At the end of the track, the escapement hits a trigger which causes the track to slant the other way, starting the cycle again.

The video below shows how easily this mechanism can be assembled!

Welcome to the Cocoa Press DIY Kit's 3D printable files! Designed with precision and tested for reliability, these files are everything you need with your Cocoa Press 3D Chocolate Printer DIY kit.

Please use the "Download All" button and unzip the files within. This contains STL files organized by printer subassembly and G-code files for the Prusa MK3s and the Prusa MK4.

**Printing Guidelines**

For the best results, please adhere to our part printing guidelines:

- 3D Printing Process: Fused Filament - Fabrication (FFF)
- Material: PETG
- Nozzle Size: 0.4mm
- Layer Height: Recommended 0.2mm
- Infill Type: Grid, Gyroid, Honeycomb, Triangle, or Cubic
- Infill Percentage: Recommended 25%
- Wall Count: Recommended 3
- Solid Top/Bottom Layers: 4 bottom layers, 5 top layers


**Filament Requirements**

- Primary Color: ~ 750g
- Accent Color: ~ 250g


**Part Naming Notes**

- Files with [a] in front are to be printed in the accent color (usually Cocoa Press Brown).
- Files without a specific marking are for the primary color (Cocoa Press Light Red).
- "x2" at the end of the file name indicates that two copies need to be printed.

Cocoa Press 3D Printed Parts

Keep your space clean and stylish with this round PLEIADES waste bin. This three part design utilizes a lightweight spiralized bin along with an outer rim that can hold a plastic liner, and a lid with a print in place hinge that keeps your trash out of sight, out of mind.

My **PLEIADES** series of prints are designed to be printed in vase/spiral mode in your slicer. I suggest printing the 'bin' part with a **0.8 mm nozzle width** (even with a 0.4mm nozzle) and 3-5 bottom layers. No top layers. **Make sure your slicer is not set to close small gaps.** In BambuStudio/Cura I set the _'Slice gap closing radius'_ to 0 mm

The lid and outer rim can be printed with 3+ shells and 15-25% infill at 0.16-0.2 mm layer height. Depending on the filament and infill% you may want to increase the number of solid top layers on the lid to 6 or 7 for a smooth surface.

Use a small plastic bag for the liner. It may also be used without a liner if you only plan on using it for dry waste.

When attaching the lid to the rim, make sure to line up the connector along the inside edges, which help hold it in place. When separating the parts, it's easiest to pry up from the opposite side (closer to the hinges).

PLEIADES Round Waste Bin

The Multiboard Tiles form the base of Multiboard, allowing you to screw in Threads, insert Snaps and use the Pegboard holes. 

The Tiles have two types of holes: Multiholes and Pegboard Holes.

The Multiholes (big holes) are 25 mm apart and allow you to insert “Snap” pieces, in a similar way to the “Honeycomb Storage Wall'' system. The Multihole is also a threaded hole, allowing you to screw in Big Thread Bolts.

The Pegboard Holes (small holes) are 25 mm apart and allow you to use hundreds of pegboard accessories with the tiles. The Pegboard Holes are also threaded, allowing you to screw in Small Thread Bolts.

Tiles are also symmetrical on both sides.

This is a “Core” Tile, so it has two sides with pegboard holes, and forms most of your Multiboard.

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. The print has been designed to be “3 wall perimeters” in wall thickness. Printed at a layout height of 0.2 mm. It doesn't need printing supports. Use the default 15% infill. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

I got lots of requests for a version of this planter that was renter friendly so this is what I came up with!

It attaches to the wall using a medium 3M Command Strip and a sliding dovetail. There's a screw mounted sliding dovetail in the files as well.

Another huge improvement - I ditched the threads on the drip tray and went a twist lock design, similar to the way reusable filament spools lock together. This method will hold up better over time, is more secure, and doesn't leave any gaps between the drip tray and the pot.

I've included a 4.5 inch version as well and will be adding a 6.5 inch size soon. Note that the only the 2.75 inch size includes that 3M Command Strip mount.

The screw mounts were designed to mount to the wall using #10-12 x 1-1/4 in screws with plastic anchors. These can be found at any hardware store or online.
