A typical Butterfly Hinge

Print Temperature: Refer to Filement Manufacturer's Specifications.
Filament: Standard PLA or Silk PLA works perfectly for smooth movement. Best printed with ABS or PETG for slightly more flexible, durable performance.
Layer Height: 0.2mm or 0.16mm (thinner layers prevent the moving joints from fusing together).
Wall Loops / Perimeters: Set to at least 3 or 4 walls for a sturdy, long-lasting hinge.
Infill: 15% to 20% Gyroid or Grid infill.
Supports: NO SUPPORTS. This is a print-in-place model; adding supports will lock the hinge permanently.

* Center pin 📍 can be directly inserted with a piece of 2.85mm or smaller Filament, hence no printing is required.
