hello there, is this only the rocks? is there a printable monkey?
Hello! The model is designed to hold the latest Nintendo amiibo release — the one featuring Donkey Kong and Pauline from Bananza. Just to clarify, it’s not a 3D model of the characters themselves. The Dock only includes the rocky environment where you can place the amiibo, and it’s meant to sit nicely next to your Switch 2 Dock. Hope that makes sense! Have a great day!
yes that would be awesome to resin print
This is awesome! I'm printing it right now!
@Holoprops, did you consider making a version without the Switch dock cut-out? Purely for display purposes. It would be great as a display piece on its own.
We can do that yes
Hello there, i tried downloading the files to slice and print the model. But when i download the files the slicer doesnt recognise it, what can i do about it?
Hey there! The file included with this download is a 3MF file, which is recognized by slicer software. This one was created using Bambu Studio, so I’d recommend using that if possible. That said, you should have no trouble opening it in PrusaSlicer, Cura, OrcaSlicer, or any other slicer that supports 3MF files. Just go to File → Open 3MF and you should be all set. Have a great day!
This dose not work in Orca or Cura. Even with 3MF selected it will tell you the model is missing or it will say it cant print due to floating items and requires a layer jump on each layer. PLEASE UPLOAD A STL FILE none of this 3MF crap because THIS WILL NOT WORK without Bambu Slicer. (Note: tried this with 3 different printers/slicers)
Hi! Thanks a lot for your feedback. I totally understand how frustrating this must feel. I just want to reassure you that the 3MF file has been redownloaded and retested on our side and it opens perfectly without any missing parts or floating items. Everything slices and prints correctly here. It really looks like something might be going wrong on your end.
