This is a case for the Elecrow 5Inch TFT Touch Screen (Resistance Touch) display. This display can be found on amazon (link provided father below). The display is sandwiched together with the PI using GPIO pins (uses 26pins). So far it has worked very well and its a compact set up. 

There will be two versions, one to be used with a 40x20 fan and another without any fans. No nuts are required, here the bolts cut into the plastic.

This design uses very precise clearances, that means you need to have flow, horizontal expansion, and e-steps as well calibrated as possible, moreover, you might want to have sand paper or cutters ready just in case (you probably wont need to if everything is well calibrated).

The Pi sits on top of four small pillars which all have a 2mm cylinder at the top. This small cylinders fit within the PIs mounting hole pattern. The "Lid" has dividers which go in between the USB ports/ethernet port. 

The PI stays in place with the use of the Lid dividers, Case pillars/cylinders, and the frictions of the GPIO pin connection.

Horizontal Expansion figures to be used as calibration parts. These can be used to calibration both external horizontal expansion as well as interior horizontal expansion (aka hole horizontal expansion)

The exterior and interior dimensions are shown in the technical drawings.

To configure horizontal expansion you must first calibrate your flow settings, then afterwards you may print all or just one of the models above. Then follow the formula below (this formula is to be used with Ultimaker Cura but should work with other slicers)

Horizontal Expansion = (Requested length - Recorded length)/2
Hole Horizontal Expansion = (Requested length - Recorded length)/2

In this case the requested length is the length that appears in the technical Drawings. The exterior perimeters of the models are to be used to calculate the normal exterior horizontal expansion while the holes in the models are to be used for Hole Horizontal expansion. 

Do not worry about elephants foot too much since I did add chamfers to the geometry which needs to be measured. 

***It may be useful to enable combing mode to make sure that you have no unwanted blogs in the holes.

The original designer did a fantastic job with the geometry of the mount and mounting mechanism, I however wanted a more secure way to mount the webcam to the mount. As we all know cameras use a standard 1/4-20 bolt, so that's exactly what I made, this screw works with most camera bolt mounts. I also made a hinge slot connector that allows the hinge to be assembled without the use of bolts, this part is called the hinge slot pin trial 2 and is meant to connect the base and arm and works just like a pin.

I suggest that you go with as high of a resolution as you can go, this will make the bolt stronger and more accurate. I printed at a 0.15 layer height and went a little slower on the speeds, also use 80% infill or max out walls or get close to filling the entire thing, this will make it stronger and will not use a significant amount of plastic

Don't over torque the screw, at the end of the day it is a plastic component made on a 3d printer, especially if you didn't use the necessary infill as mentioned earlier.

This remix allows the user to have even more clearance in the Z direction, you will gain anywhere from 10-20 mm of Z height due to conflicting geometry being moved out of the way. To combat flex some areas have been beefed up even more. 

The clearance for the holes has been increased to allow the user to install these brackets with T-nuts more easily. 

NEW FEATURES -- There are 2 new blind holes on the bottom surface that makes direct contact with the 2020 extrusion, here are 2 M5 screws which stick out by about 1 or 1/2 of a mm. These new holes create clearance so the brackets can lay flat. 

Ender 3 Belted Z - Symmetric Beefy Brackets

Here is a set of Spacers and washers for your skateboards or roller blades. They use the standard sizes used in most skateboards and roller skates. Since the purpose of these components is to keep the bearing from touching the lock nuts and trucks they pose no problems being made of plastic, in addition to that, the spacers will only receive compression in the z axis which they were printed on, this also reduces any risks. 

Print at 100% infill or use a wall line count of 4 (also known as shells). 

I printed mine using PLA and they work great, so far I have been using them from about a month with many continuous hours of use at the skatepark, everything is holding up. 

If you have better materials such as nylon or HIPPS or even PP you should go for those to ensure a longer lifetime of the components. 

Dimensions are as follows: Washers have an inner diameter of 8mm (snug fit) with an outer diameter of 11.300mm (just perfect to only touch rotating component of bearing), and a height of 1mm. The spacers have an inner diameter of 8mm (snug fit) and an outer diameter of 11.3mm (similar to the dimensions previously stated) and a height of 10 mm.

Have fun, wear protection, and if you need taller or shorter components I suggest you use the scale tool, uncheck uniform scaling, then just add the z height that you want the components to come out at.

A quick Bed Leveling test. Adjust bed knobs according to the final results or adjust live. Final height of the print should be one layer tall comprising of a 0.2 mm layer height. 

I have included cad files but I don't think you'll really need them. This model was made with the ender 3 v2 in mind but it should work for print beds that are not smaller than 220x220. 

Have fun and level them print beds.
