Venom Bust - Love this print. Finished it earlier today. - 3d model

We are Venom!

This Venom Bust was designed to have more stylish shapey Symbyote energy than any Venom sculpt I've seen. This will stand out in the collection of any Venom fans. The sharp chunky shapes catch the light great at small or large sizes.

The model was designed at 1/2 scale, and stands about 30cm (11in) tall. But it prints and looks great in resin as small as 1/8th scale (3in). My 1/4 scale filament tests went fine, but it isn't easy to separate the supports from the tendrils at that size.

Printing DOWNLOAD the default file (3MF) so that you can orient the pieces individually. I do not print share or support the STL files that Thangs converts from my models. This model was designed with resin printing in mind and could be considered a little bit challenging to print in FDM. I recommend tree/organic supports and a brim for all the parts. The head, base, and Jaw all have a flat area that can print directly on the bed, but the tongue will print best fully supported by Tree/organic supports with the drips pointing upwards, then use Automatic tree supports with few extra supports added to where the tongue curls over.

Assembly This should be pretty easy, but the order of assembly will make a difference. Position the tongue inside the mouth, and align it with the point on the chest. Then slide the jaw in beneath the tongue.
