Honda Element Blanking Plate
This is a recreation of the blanking plate found in Honda Elements in the driver's side area where the cruise or traction control toggles would be installed. I only have cruise control on mine, so the 2nd port was covered with a blanking plate. I decided to recreate it in AutoCAD so I could add a button or switch to that plate without damaging the original. It is a prime spot for adding modifications to the car and with this model, you won't have to modify any original parts.
I went through about 10 different variations until I got one that was flush and snug. I've included three variants; one blank, one with a 6mm hole, and one with a 12mm hole. These should give you plenty of options to add buttons, switches, lights, etc. Please let me know if I can make any improvements and I'll do my best to realize them.
This model is completely free and in the public domain. I've attached the DWG as well as early versions of the model, please make changes and improve on it, even for commercial purposes. If you happen to make some money on this, consider buying me a coffee.
