3D MODEL DESCRIPTION Out now is my latest design, the flexi sky king - featuring folding wings, highly flexible body and a choice of eyes for printing and available with preset colour print profiles.
With its almost entirely print in place design, the model requires no additional parts unless you choose to print the version designed for glass eyes (6mm available online from stores such as amazon & ebay)
Standard size built for Bambulabs 250mm plates, can be scaled easily and works even better on larger machines (note glass eyes will need to be larger if scaled up in size)
Commercial licence available for subscribers with remix capabilities.
Includes 2 variations - standard and version with slots for glass eye inserts.
The glass eye inserts are to be 6mm in diameter (readily available cheap and in bulk from amazon etc...)
3D PRINTING SETTINGS Brim is recommended with tree supports for critical regions only. (this is to support the teeth)
The jaw prints nicer in the orientation provided with tree supports but can be placed on the flat to be printed without any need for supports (your choice)
Walls are recommended at .36mm thickness x2 minimum (thinner is better to ensure the complex design in the folding wings does not fuse together)
Gyroid infill at 15%
No glue required, once printed and all supports are removed simply click the tongue in the mouth and push the jaw into the slots in the head, once forced into position the jaw will move up and down freely and be unable to disconnect.
